By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

•        Define the fundamentals of AI and LLMs and their relevance to WSH workflows.

•        Identify common pain points in traditional HAZOP studies and WSH Risk Assessment (RA).

•        Understand the capabilities of the contemporary LLMs for professional safety applications.

•        Navigate structured AI-assisted systems to accelerate hazard identification and consistency in reports.

•        Apply AI systems into existing frameworks to upkeep consistency and quality while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The objective of this workshop is to enhance participants’ practical understanding of how human performance influences major accident risks. The workshop equips participants with practical tools to conduct basic Safety-Critical Task Analysis and apply human factors thinking during incident investigations in high-hazard environments.

1. To understand and visualize the hazards that can result in loss of containment through simulation using computational fluid dynamics
2. To gain a deeper understanding of what CFD can help to achieve in loss prevention engineering
3. To understand the applications of CFD in loss prevention, engineering design and process safety management

1. Understand how building fire safety is regulated through the legislative and regulatory regime
2. Gain a deeper appreciation of the Fire Code
3. Familiarise with the applications of the Fire Code to the process industry
